Start with the worktop. Pendants over an island should hang 75-90cm above the surface. A 1.2-1.6m island takes one statement pendant or three smaller pendants spaced evenly. For a 2m+ island, use the multi-head Nordic Glass Island lamp — it covers the surface uniformly without dark spots.
