Can they stay outside all year round?
Yes, these lights are designed for outdoor use and can stay outside throughout the year when installed correctly. They are made to handle normal outdoor conditions such as rain, wind, and changing temperatures.
Are they waterproof?
Outdoor lights use an IP rating to show their level of protection against dust and water. You can find this product’s IP rating above.
For exposed areas, we recommend choosing a light with a suitable IP rating for the location.
Will they rust or fade over time?
These lights are made with outdoor durability in mind. As with any exterior fixture, long-term appearance can depend on weather exposure, coastal air, and maintenance. To keep the finish looking its best, we recommend occasionally wiping the light with a soft cloth and avoiding harsh chemical cleaners.

How are ground garden lights installed?
Installation depends on the model and the surface. Spike lights are usually placed directly into soil, gravel, or lawn areas using the ground spike provided. Bollard or base-mounted lights are typically fixed onto a solid surface such as paving, decking, concrete, or a prepared outdoor base.
For hardwired garden lights, the electrical cable should be safely routed and protected for outdoor use. We strongly recommend using a qualified electrician to ensure the lights are installed securely, safely, and in line with outdoor electrical requirements.
Do I need an electrician?
For hardwired outdoor lights, we strongly recommend installation by a qualified electrician. Outdoor lighting must be fitted safely and correctly, especially when exposed to weather. We recommend booking an electrician only once you have received your item.
Is assembly required?
Most garden and outdoor wall lights require minimal assembly - typically just mounting the fitting to the wall and connecting the wiring. Any product-specific steps are detailed above. We recommend setting aside 30–60 minutes for installation, and using a qualified electrician for the mains connection.
What’s included in the box?
You'll receive the light fitting, mounting bracket, fixing screws and wall plugs, and an installation guide. Most outdoor lights are supplied without bulbs unless stated otherwise, so check the product specs for bulb type before ordering.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Yes. You can request a return within 30 days of delivery, as long as the item is unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.

Who pays for return shipping?
- Change-of-mind returns: return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
- Faulty/damaged items: we will make it right — return shipping may be covered depending on the case and item type.
Do I have to return the item to get a refund?
For change-of-mind returns, yes — we process refunds after the item is returned and inspected.
For damaged or faulty items, we first offer replacement parts or a replacement unit and, in some cases, we may not require a return (depending on the situation and evidence provided).
What condition must the item be in?
Returned items must be:
- unused and uninstalled
- in original packaging (including all parts/accessories/manuals)
- packed securely to avoid damage in transit
Items showing signs of use, installation, or missing parts may be subject to a deduction or may not be eligible for a full refund.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are usually processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method. Banks can take additional time to show the funds (typically a few days).
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?

- photos of the outer packaging
- photos/videos clearly showing the issue
We’ll offer the best solution quickly: replacement parts, replacement item, partial refund, or full refund depending on the situation.
What if something is missing from my order?
If any part is missing, contact us within 48h of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll ship the missing part(s) as soon as possible.
What if my return gets lost in transit?
We strongly recommend using a tracked return service and keeping proof of postage. If a return is lost, proof of postage/tracking is required for us to investigate and support the claim.
Can I cancel my order?
If your order hasn’t been dispatched, we can usually cancel it. Once dispatched, cancellation may not be possible — but you can still request a return after delivery.
